—————————–
Spain’s capital, Madrid, initiated trials for the country’s first fully electric, autonomous bus in the Casa de Campo area on September 15.

The pilot project is a collaborative effort between the Madrid Municipal Transport Company (EMT) and the Galician Automotive Technology Center (CTAG). The goal is to rigorously test the self-driving bus’s capabilities under real-world traffic conditions.

According to El País, the innovative initiative has already received a significant public reception in its first few days of operation, marking a major step forward for Spain’s green and smart urban transport sector.
