The world’s largest Orthodox church, known as the “Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation,” has been officially inaugurated in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
According to Shia Waves Agency, citing the BBC, the cathedral — which stands 125 meters tall and can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers — has become the largest Orthodox church in the world after more than a decade of construction.
Thousands of citizens and religious leaders attended the inauguration ceremony, marking a significant event for the Romanian Orthodox community.
The cathedral now serves as the main center of the Romanian Orthodox Church, symbolizing both national pride and religious identity.
