A conference organized by the Islamic Affairs Office of the city of Berat brought together Muslim and Christian leaders, political figures, and civil representatives to reaffirm the family’s central role in Albanian society, IQNA reported. The event, held under the supervision of Albania’s Mufti Bulbil Tala, aimed to emphasize the family as a shared human, religious, and national value.

Participants, including representatives of the Orthodox and Catholic churches, members of parliament, and educators, discussed challenges facing Albanian families amid social and cultural changes. In his address, Mufti Tala highlighted that the family is the foundation of the Islamic community and the source of moral and spiritual values, urging a united response against any attempts to undermine it.

The Islamic Affairs Office of Berat concluded by thanking attendees for their cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting family culture and strengthening social cohesion in Albania.
