French politician and presidential candidate Eric Zemmour continues his anti-Islam racist statements, in an attempt to win the support of more extremists in the upcoming elections.
This time, Zammour targeted mosques and the call to prayer, in statements on a French channel, where he said: “I do not want to hear the voice of the muezzin in France, and I will not hear it if I become president of the republic.”
Eric Zemmour defended the idea that France is a land and should welcome churches rather than mosques for “cultural reasons”, as he put it.
He declared, “In France, I do not want to hear the voice of the muezzin,” stressing his refusal to build large mosques, “for some Muslims, great mosques mean the conquest of French lands.”
