Halal Route App Enhances Travel for Muslim Tourists in Thailand

The Halal Science Center at Chulalongkorn University has launched the “Halal Route” app, designed to support Muslim travelers in Thailand, Travel And Tour World revealed yesterday.

This mobile application serves as a comprehensive guide, offering information on Halal-certified restaurants, hotels, mosques, prayer directions, and tourist attractions.

With the global Muslim tourism market projected to reach 168 million travelers in 2024, the app aims to address the challenges faced by Muslim tourists, who often struggle to find suitable dining and prayer facilities. Integrated with Google Maps, the app provides accurate navigation and is available in Thai, English, and Arabic.
