Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Largest Quran Memorization Competition in Nepal
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for Islamic Affairs, led by Undersecretary Awad Al-Anzi, has successfully concluded the Second Holy Quran Memorization Competition in Nepal, which saw participation from over 750 contestants, both boys and girls, Spa.gov.sa reported yesterday.
The event, held in Kathmandu, was organized under the supervision of the Saudi Embassy in Nepal and in coordination with the Muslim Commission of the Nepalese government. The competition featured four categories, culminating in the recognition of 18 winners.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes to the top winners and a commemorative photo session, marking a successful celebration of Quranic scholarship and dedication in Nepal.
