The first official mourning ceremony of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in Qatar

 For the first time, a mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was officially held in Qatar.

Photos published by Husseiniyat al-Rasool al-A’dham in Doha, the capital of Qatar, indicate that for the first time, a Husseini mourning ceremony was held in Doha, Qatar, officially, and without any government obstruction.

 It should be noted that statistics indicate that Shias constitute 20% of the population of Qatar.

 Qatar is one of the countries located on the southern border of the Arabian Gulf, part of the country’s southern border is connected with the coasts of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and its eastern borders are with the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman.
