CrescentRating, a global authority on halal travel, has named Hong Kong as the “Most Promising Destination of the Year for Muslims.”

According to Shia Waves Agency, citing CNN, this recognition is based on the Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) and highlights Hong Kong’s efforts to enhance Muslim-friendly tourism.

Among non-Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member destinations, Hong Kong ranked third worldwide and secured first place in the Muslim-friendly travel index.
