$1.5 Million Raised for Muslim Syrian Hero of Sydney’s Bondi Beach

Ahmed Al-Ahmad, a 43-year-old Syrian Muslim and father of two daughters, saved lives during the terrorist attack at Sydney’s Bondi Beach by bravely disarming one of the attackers. His actions helped protect civilians and quickly drew widespread attention on social media.
Following the incident, a fundraising campaign was launched by social media influencer Zachery Dereniowski, in collaboration with the “Car Hub Australia” club. The campaign raised more than 1.5 million Australian dollars in support of Al-Ahmad.
Dereniowski is a well-known online influencer recognized for his humanitarian initiatives and charitable fundraising efforts through social media platforms.
Australia’s Prime Minister and the Premier of New South Wales publicly praised Ahmed Al-Ahmad for his courage. He remains hospitalized and is receiving medical care following injuries sustained during the attack.
