Free Muslim Organization calls on Sudan to intervene to stop massacres against civilians
The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) called on the Sudanese authorities to intervene to stop the massacres against civilians.
In a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, the organization said that it had seen with great regret the press releases received from Sudan, which indicated that dozens of civilians had been killed or wounded due to armed tribal conflicts.
According to the statement, these data confirmed the killing of dozens and the injury of hundreds in armed confrontations that erupted in the tribal areas and are still continuing.
The organization called on the official authorities, tribal leaders and influential bodies to intervene urgently to stop the bloodshed and the suffering of the innocent as a result of these conflicts, stressing in the first place the need for the government to assume its legal and moral responsibilities in dealing with this sensitive file and work to limit the outbreak of confrontations between the people of the same country.
