Within activities of reviving Prophet’s and Imam Sadiq’s honorable births, Shirazi Authority Office in Madagascar distributes gifts to children

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the city of Majunga, Madagascar, delighted hearts of a number of children from the Shias of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, within the activities of celebrating the birth anniversary of the Noble Prophet and his grandson Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.”

A statement issued by his Eminence’s office, received by Shia Waves News Agency today, said: “Many events and activities will be held within the ten days dedicated to celebrating the great occasion.”

The statement added, “Among the initiatives and activities is the distribution of gifts to a group of children to bring joy and happiness to their loving and loyal hearts to the pure family of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).”

It continued, “The gifts included school bags, stationery, toys and clothes,” noting that “the children were very happy with them.”

The statement also indicated that “one of the tasks and activities of the office of His Eminence the Shirazi Authority is to establish such humanitarian programs that include all segments of the Shia community with the aim of continuous communication with them and meeting their life and spiritual needs.”

Shia Muslims around the world commemorate the great anniversary of the Noble Prophet and his grandson, Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon them), which falls on the seventeenth of the current month of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
