Niger: ‘Fi’al al-Khayrat’ Foundation distributes food aid to poor families
The ‘Fi’al al-Khayrat’ Foundation, one of the active Shirazi Authority institutions in the State of Niger, distributed foodstuffs to many poor and deprived Shia families of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), with the aim of supporting them in living conditions and relieving their burdens.
The Foundation said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency: “The humanitarian initiative included distributing the main foodstuffs, most notably (rice and oil) to poor and needy families in the capital of Niger (Niamie).”
The statement added that “food aid has been delivered to the beneficiary families, in constant communication by the Foundation with the support of these important community segments.”
The Foundation affirmed that its humanitarian initiatives are based on the commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
It pointed out that “supporting poor and needy families enhances the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among adherents of the true sect.”
