The Husseini banner flutters in the sky of Madagascar

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the city of Majunga in the Republic of Madagascar, raised the honorable Husseini banner, on the occasion of the holy month of sorrows, Muharram.

In a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, the official website of the Shirazi Religious Authority stated that the banner was changed in a ceremony attended by dozens of young followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

It added that after the banner-raising ceremony, attendees participated in a Husseini mourning ceremony, which recalled the affliction of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, and the tragic incident of al-Taff.
