The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Majunga opens free “campus housing” for Shia university students

A group of followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Majunga, Madagascar, celebrated the inauguration of two residential buildings with the efforts of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the city, which were designated for Shia university students, with the aim of securing adequate housing for them.

The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, “The celebration was held in the presence of the representative of the Shirazi Religious Authority, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Radhi Wasram, and a group of followers of the Pure Progeny and university students.”

It added that “this important project was established near Majunga University to embrace university students and provide them with free housing during their studies, and it consists of two buildings equipped with all the necessary needs for housing.”

The Office indicated that “the two buildings include study rooms, restrooms, and classrooms,” explaining that “the two buildings bore the name of the late Grand Ayatollah Imam Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah bless his soul.
