Anbar warns of ISIS terrorist attacks during the great month of Ramadan

The Mayor of al-Qaim, Anbar province, Ahmed al-Mahlawi, warned of attacks by the remnants of ISIS terrorist organization during the great month of Ramadan.

The Mayor of al-Qaim, Anbar province, Ahmed al-Mahlawi, warned of attacks by the remnants of ISIS terrorist organization during the great month of Ramadan.

Al-Mahlawi said in a statement, that the growing ability of ISIS operatives to launch terrorist attacks targeting different areas of the cities of Anbar, is classified within the aspirations of the terrorist organization to prove its existence, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, in order to draw the world’s attention that the organization still exists and threatens liberated areas.

He added that stopping the cooperation of the international coalition with the security forces in tracking down ISIS cells and targeting them led to the growing ability of the terrorist organization to move in the desert areas and target security checkpoints in the western regions.
