Bahraini Judiciary upholds 15-year prison sentences for three young men on political grounds
The Bahraini Appeals Court upheld prison sentences of 15 years and a fine of 200,000 dinars, against three citizens on political grounds from the Al-Dair area (east of Manama).
The Bahraini Appeals Court upheld prison sentences of 15 years and a fine of 200,000 dinars, against three citizens on political grounds from the Al-Dair area (east of Manama).
The sentences were issued against Hussein Hammad (22 years old), Muhammad Issa Al Muhandis (22 years old), and Sayyed Ali Al Sayed Jalil (20 years old).
As a result, protesters lit tires and closed some streets, expressing their anger at the continued detention of thousands of political prisoners in dangerous health conditions during the time of the coronavirus outbreak.
