The Afghan army confirmed that at least 13 Taliban militants have been killed after the terrorist group’s hideout in Gon, western Afghanistan, was bombed.
A statement issued by the army stated that the security forces stormed the hideouts of the militants, by land and air, as they were planning attacks on security checkpoints to control the Sharak area in the troubled province.
No security personnel or civilians were injured during these raids, according to the statement.
