A French pharmaceutical company announced today, Wednesday, that it is ready to provide about 300 thousand doses of its drug to treat coronavirus, following promising results during the tests.

The French newspaper “Le Monde” reported that the pharmaceutical company made the decision to provide the treatment to coronavirus patients after it proved its effectiveness during recent tests.

A spokesman for the French company said that, in light of the promising results of a study conducted on this drug, “Sanofi is committed to putting its medicine within France’s reach and providing millions of doses, a quantity that can allow the treatment of 300,000 patients”, stressing at the same time that the company is ready to cooperate with French authorities.
