Afghan army kills eight Taliban terrorists in air strikes

The Afghan News Agency, quoting the Afghan National Army Shaheen 209, said that the air strikes targeted Taliban gatherings in the center of Balkh province, and in the Shaharsai Alborz region.

The air strikes killed eight Taliban fighters and wounded at least five others, the statement said.

The statement added that the Afghan security forces discovered the presence of an explosive device planted by Taliban fighters between the Margain Taba and Alam Khail in the Afghan province of Balkh.
