A statement issued by the state police said that the mosque in the city of Amendingen was attacked by unknown persons, adding that the attackers drew the logo of a swastika and wrote racist expressions on the walls of the mosque.
The statement said that the walls of a kindergarten and a school adjacent to the mosque were marked with similar racist expressions, Thursday and Friday.
The statement announced that the German authorities had opened an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the attacks.
