PMU announces cutting five new infiltration routes for ISIS in Diyala

An official in the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Muhammad al-Tamimi, announced that five new infiltration routes for ISIS have been cut in the Diyala district.
In a press interview, al-Tamimi said that the PMU launched three operations in February 5 in five districts, most prominent of which are Hamrin and the lake, to track ISIS cells and secure hills and valleys.
Al-Tamimi added that five infiltration methods of ISIS between the valleys and hills were inferred and cut through the strategy of mobile ambushes and the setting up of interconnecting points, pointing out that the total roads that were cut during the past 6 months amounted to 13 roads, mostly between deep valleys.
