Samarra Operations Command finds explosive devices and hideout belonging to ISIS in al-Jamiya area

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the seizure of explosive devices and a hideout belonging to ISIS in the al-Jamiya area, within the Samarra sector of operations in Salah al-Din Governorate.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the seizure of explosive devices and a hideout belonging to ISIS in the al-Jamiya area, within the Samarra sector of operations in Salah al-Din Governorate.

The ministry said in a statement, that a force from the Samarra operations belonging to the second division, the Fifth Brigade, along with the federal police and the intelligence, received intelligence information about the presence of a terrorist group in al-Jamiya area.

It added that the force found three explosive devices, and another force found a hideout in Bistan Ali area, containing food and explosive devices.
