The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Liz Grandi, condemned the bombing of a house by the Saudi coalition in the district of Mastaba in Hajjah province on the Eid al-Adha holiday, killing 12 civilians, including 6 children, and injuring 16 other civilians, mostly children and women, exceeding all imaginations.
The UN official said in a statement published by the United Nations, that violence against civilians resulting from this conflict outweighs all scenarios and is totally unacceptable, pointing out that the wounded were transferred to the hospital in Hajjah.
“It is very sad for families to mourn their loved ones on Eid al-Adha instead of celebrating with them in peace and harmony,” she said in a statement condemning the massacre.
“Every day more people die,” UN official Liz Grande said, asking on behalf of aid workers to stop this tragedy, stressing that “there is no justification for the continued suffering of the Yemeni people.”
