Taliban’s deputy shadow governor for Panjshir province killed
The Afghan Special Forces killed the shadow deputy governor of Taliban for northern Panjshir province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.

According to a statement released by MoI, the Special Unit of the Afghan National Police conducted an operation in Nejrab district of Kapisa on Saturday night.
The statement further added that the Special Forces killed Abdul Ahad alias Zulfiqar, the shadow deputy governor of Taliban for Panjshir province.
Furthermore, the interior ministry said the Special Forces also killed the military commission chief of the group for Panjshir and five other militants.
The interior ministry also added that the security forces confiscated some weapons and munitions and other military kits during the operation.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
