Quran competition at Ramadan Tent in Moscow

The XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition took place at Ramadan Tent, an event traditionally held near Moscow Memorial Mosque in the last days of the holy month of Ramadan. 

 

 

The XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition took place at Ramadan Tent, an event traditionally held near Moscow Memorial Mosque in the last days of the holy month of Ramadan. 

 

A total of nine Qur’an reciters from different regions of Russia took part in the elimination round. 

President of the jury Islam Dashkin greeted all the participants of the event and wished luck to all the contenders. 

 

All participants of the contests were presented with diplomas of participation and gifts. 

 

XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition is organized under the patronage of Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and under the auspices of Moscow City Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. 

 

The contest brings together well-known memorizers from over 30 countries.
