The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Pakistan has foiled a terror bid to target the upcoming Shia mourning congregation on Ramadan 21 in Karachi.

Two facilitators of TTP terrorist group were arrested at Sohrab Goth.
The Department also recovered two suicide bombing jackets.
CTD Officer Ali Raza said that terrorists send the jackets from Afghanistan and concealed them in refrigerator. Then they arrested two facilitators of the terrorists involved in import of the suicide jackets.
“The terrorists had planned to bomb the Shia mourning congregation on the 21st of Ramadan.”
The 21st of Ramadan marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
