French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said in a statement that four Iranian-backed centers of the Shia community would be suspended in his country.
The French government announced on Wednesday that the “Al-Zahra Center,” the French Shia Federation, “the Anti-Zionist Party” and the “Marianne Network” will be closed.
French police said that during searching raids anti-terrorist forces in the center of Zahra in Dunkirk district in the east of France, the troops found weapons that were illegally acquired.
The French Interior Minister said that these centers invite people through forums, newspapers, books and social networking websites to armed jihad.
Meanwhile, Islamic calls are circulating for the closure of all centers and institutions that activate extremist ideas and promote the Islam of Muawiya.
