A conference on the ‘Danger of Takfir and Radicalism on Global Peaceful Coexistence’ inaugurated in Danish Capital’s Imam Ali mosque in which several religious figures and missionaries took part.
The conference, which kicked off on Monday, May 22, was attended by a group of religious missionaries and officials of Islamic centers in Europe including Hujjatul Islam Ramezani, head of Hamburg’s Imam Ali, peace be upon him, center as well as Sayyed Mortadha Kashmiri, Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative in Europe.
Hujjatul Islam Ramezani was a keynote speaker of the event; during his speech he asserted, “The issue of takfirism and radicalism has been a major concern throughout history and it must be addressed in any era since it poses a threat to different societies, it’s been the same even in the past. During the last years, this phenomenon has become a regional and even a global concern which imposes great threats on the whole world. “
