Al-Khoei Foundation organizes Shia Educational Conference

On February 2, Al-Khoei Foundation conducted a Shia Educational Conference for RE teachers from all around the UK.

 

 

On February 2, Al-Khoei Foundation conducted a Shia Educational Conference for RE teachers from all around the UK.

The conference focused on the new criteria on the new GCSE which examines now Shia Beliefs and Practices.  The conference was well attended and teachers remarked that they were very grateful  for  accessing  accurate  materials about the  Shia perspective  of Islam, where in their area they were limited to Sunni  mosques.

Al-Khoei Foundation’s recently-published guide book for RE teachers on teaching Shia Islam was also launched during the conference.
