A police source told the correspondent of Agence France-Presse, “The fire broke out from five places in the hall assigned for women almost one o’clock, but firefighters intervened before the fire cause any significant damage.”
French Minister of Interior, Bruno Le Roux, condemned the terrorist act stressing that the identity of the attackers will be known by all means.
It is worth mentioning that the flames damaged the furniture and carpets, while the walls of the prayer room turned black because of the heavy smoke.
