Aylesbury Muslim community invited community leaders in when they broke their fast after 9pm, half way through this important month for Muslims.
Asad Mahmood, member of the Mosque’s management team , said, “It’s part of an ongoing effort to ensure that we build better and closer relationships with members of our community. This is something that is very important to us and something we’ve been doing over the course of the year.”
He told us this comes as the mosque heads for its 25th anniversary in September.
Asad and other leaders have been meeting with people from the church, as well as leaders from other faiths, to see how they can work together for Aylesbury as well.
