A Buffalo group is helping put food on the table for struggling Muslim familiesahead of Ramadan. On Monday, Project Ramadan Buffalo started building andcollecting donations for the food baskets at the Tops Market on Amherst inBuffalo.
Project Noor collected donations outside of Tops on Grant and Amherst Streets
Monday afternoon for what they call “Project Ramadan.”The non-profit organization is putting together food baskets that will feed afamily of four to five for one month. The group of volunteers say that the basketswill have enough food in them to support 4 to 5 people for 1 month. The basketswill have things like rice, cereal, pasta, dates, and canned goods.
