Members of Madison’s Muslim community in Wisconsin, U.S.A spent their Saturday serving and hosting a spring dinner for those in need, WMTV news reported.
“It’s very important that we support those who really need the help and that we are a part of the community,” Youth Leader, Islam Ali, said.
“We’re here to help and we’re here to lend a helping hand,” Ali continued.
The young men joined in the efforts of the Islamic Center of East Madison to welcome all people from all walks of life.
“It was pretty comforting to have the interaction with people of different backgrounds,” Center President, Gibril Jarjue, said.
“We care about each other and would like to help each other out,” another member confirmed.
According to event organizers, the dinner was put together out of love for others, love for their community, and most of all love for one another.
