It’s been over two decades since the tragic genocide of Husseiniyah of Mehfil-E-Murtaza that shocked the world on February 25th, 1995.
The fasting Shia Muslims were busy reciting duas and prayers and were ready to break their fast when suddenly four terrorists of Sepah-e-Sahaba entered and opened random fire, killing 16 Shias on the spot and leaving a couple critically injured.
The horrific incident of Mehfil-e-Murtaza happened in Pir Ilahi Buksh Colony.
Hours after the genocide, 130 empty bullet covers were found scattered at the floor and police noticed all martyrs were shot on the upper end of neck, which means that the terrorists were well trained.
