Muslim woman was assaulted while walking in the streets in the largest city
A veiled Muslim woman was assaulted while walking in the streets of the largest city in the US State of Alabama.
Chowdi, a young Muslim woman was punched in the face by an 18-year-old while walking in the city center of Birmingham.
According to Birmingham Newspaper, the 18-year-old attacker did not show any interest for her personal properties, which led her to think that the cause of the assault was just for wearing the hijab.
Sources added that Chowdi’sstated that she was not hurt by the punches rather she was affected psychologically, and said that she is now afraid to walk in the same city.
