Relief Committee has collected an entire warehouse full of donated goods for Syrian refugees
The Edmonton Islamic Relief Committee has collected an entire warehouse full of donated goods for Syrian refugees and Edmontonians in need.
Over the past few weeks, donors started renting trucks to transport donated items to Edmonton’s Al Rashid Mosque’s warehouse, which is now full of clothing, kitchenware, houseware, food, blankets and personal hygiene products.
While the donated goods were at first meant to go to incoming Syrian refugees, organizers decided to open it up to all in need.
