Malaysia to host international Quranic forum
An international forum titled “Innovations in Quranic Studies” will be held on November 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to news sources, the forum will be held by the Quran and Hadith Section of the Academy of Islamic Studies affiliated to Malaya University.
The two-day international program will be organized in the Malay, Arabic and English languages.
Quranic studies and the relation between these studies, human sciences and contemporary comparative studies will be investigated at the scholarly event.
“Quranic studies and their role in solving problems of the Muslim Ummah and contemporary challenges” and “Quranic studies and their role in the preservation of Arabic identity and Islamic sciences” will be also among the themes to be investigated at the program.
Participants at the forum will also discuss innovations in methods of teaching Quran and Quranic sciences using modern technologies and methods of promoting Quranic theses in universities and international institutes.
