Mourning ceremonies of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him held worldwide

On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’afar al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, mourning ceremonies have been held in various countries around the world.

In the holy city of Qom, a morning ceremony has been held in the house of the Eminent Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, with the attendance of a large number of scholars, Hawza students, and mourners from Iraq and Gulf countries.

The orators spoke about the biography of the Imam, peace be upon him, his contributions to Islamic sciences and his jihad against tyrants of his era.

In the Syrian capital of Damascus, the office of the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Shirazi in the area of Sayyeda Zainb, peace be upon her, has held a mourning ceremony commenced with a Quran recitation and followed with a sermon about Imam Sadiq’s reformations to the Islamic nation.

The office of the Eminent Grad Ayatollah Sayed Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in the holy city of Karbala has held a mourning ceremony with the attendance of many scholars, high-ranking people, and Hawza students.  

Imam Sadiq Institute in Denmark has marked the occasion with the attendance of crowds of mourners and representatives of the Grand Ayatollah Syed Shirazi, my Allah prolong his life.

During the seven-day program, Sayed Baqir al-Fali shed light upon the Seerah of the Imam, peace be upon him, and his thought.

A three-day program has been held by Aal Yasin Mosque in Sydney, Australia where eulogists recited their poems to a large number of mourners.

The martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sadiq has been marked in many European countries such as Moscow, Frankfurt, and Stockholm.
