Around 100 Muslim volunteers joined efforts with Islamic Relief USA to prepare 20,000 nutritious meals for families in need across Minnesota. The food-packing event took place last Sunday at Al-Tawbah Mosque in Minneapolis, where volunteers assembled meals containing rice, chicken, and dehydrated vegetables.

The initiative aims to support approximately 3,500 low-income families as part of broader efforts to combat hunger and assist vulnerable communities.

The meals are being distributed in partnership with local nonprofits “Al-Maa’uun” and “Harvest from the Heart” to ensure effective delivery.
Volunteer Nora Nashwati expressed joy in taking part, highlighting the campaign’s positive impact in helping families focus on other essential needs without the stress of food insecurity.
