East Asia Dominates 2025 Global IQ Rankings

The International IQ Test has published its 2025 average intelligence quotient (IQ) rankings, evaluating 126 countries worldwide. The report reveals that East Asian nations continue to lead in intelligence, with China achieving the highest average IQ of 107.19. South Korea follows closely at 106.43, while Japan ranks third with an IQ of 106.4. Other notable mentions include Iran (106.3), Singapore (105.14), and Russia (103.16).
At the lower end of the spectrum, Gabon, Angola, and Benin rank as the countries with the lowest IQ scores.
In the Arab world, Iraq stood on the 12th place and recorded an average IQ of 93.99, reflecting a slight decline of 0.63% from the previous year’s score of 94.62. Lebanon tops the rankings among Arab nations, followed by Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, the UAE, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. Saudi Arabia ranks 13th in the region.
