Muslim revert translates Quran into German
A Muslim from Germany has rendered the Holy Quran
A Muslim from Germany has rendered the Holy Quran into the German language 26 years after embracing Shia Islam.
According to reports, Ms Schulte said that she did the translation with the aim of promoting the message of the Quran and spreading Islamic teachings.
She noted that 90,000 copies of the rendering have been published so far.
The German Muslim said it took her two years (1999-2001) to translate the entire Quran into German.
Ms Schult said she had worked at a library and taught Christian teachings to children before embracing Islam back in the 1970s.
It’s noteworthy that she reverted to Islam after marrying a Shia Muslim man from Yemen in 1973.
