Ramadan exhibition held in Kazakhstan
An exhibition entitled “Month of Quran and Ramadan” has been held in in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
An exhibition entitled “Month of Quran and Ramadan” has been held in in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Various copies of the Holy Quran and rare Quran translations in languages such as Russian, Turkish, Tatar, Kazakh and Uyghur are on show at the expo.
On display are also Quranic artworks in different fields such as calligraphy and handicrafts.
The exhibition, which has been received well by Almaty residents, will run for 30 days until the end of the holy month.
Islam is the largest religion practiced in Kazakhstan, as more than 70 percent of the country’s 17 million population are Muslim.
