Hundreds of Muslims and non-Muslims attended the ICPIC Islamic Heritage Festival
Hundreds of Muslims and non-Muslims attended the ICPIC Islamic Heritage Festival in an effort to celebrate Islamic culture and bring Muslims and non-Muslims together.
Abdul Rahim Muhammad, ICPIC president said that the festival gives the Muslims a chance to come together in a family-friendly atmosphere and the chance to socialize and interconnect with the community at large.
During the festival, families ate from Halal food vendors such as Al-Maidah Southern Cuisine, and Aquil Fish and Wings; bought accessories and Islamic garments from independent boutiques.
One of the vendors said she was glad to have the opportunity to bring her passion of making clothes to the masses. She sold women’s apparel in several different styles, colors and prints.
Non-Muslim participants expressed their joy or taking part in such event that let them be more familiar with Muslims and their culture.
