Google Unveils New AI Features for Android Devices

Google announced new artificial intelligence features for Android devices and its latest smartphone lineup on August 14, 2024, Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.

The centerpiece, Gemini Live, is a conversational AI tool that enables users to engage in natural, free-flowing dialogues with their devices. Sameer Samat, President of the Android Ecosystem, stated, “We’re rebuilding the operating system with AI at the core, redefining what phones can do.” Gemini Live is currently available for advanced subscribers in English on Android, with plans to expand to iOS and additional languages soon.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to launch its own AI, Apple Intelligence, later this year for its devices.
