Grand Celebrations Mark Imam Reza’s (peace be upon him) Birth Anniversary in Australia, Denmark

Vibrant celebrations honoring the birth anniversary of the 8th Imam, Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (peace be upon him), were held simultaneously at two prominent Shia centers in Melbourne and Copenhagen on Friday.

In Melbourne, the Hussainiyah Bayt al-Hussain (peace be upon him) – a center affiliated with the Supreme Marja – hosted a majestic gathering attended by devotees from diverse backgrounds. The event featured Quran recitations, poetic eulogies (madiḥah), and scholarly lectures emphasizing Imam Reza’s virtues (peace be upon him).

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) Institute organized an equally spirited ceremony. The program included Quranic verses, recitation of Ziyarat Imam Reza (peace be upon him), and sermons delivered in Danish by scholar Hussain Bahrani, followed by a speech by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Saeed Ahmadi. The evening culminated in devotional poetry by maddah Mehdi Qabani and congregational prayers led by Sheikh Abdulhasan Asadi.
