Delegations from all over the world celebrate birth anniversary of Imam Hussein

Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), the Imam Hussein and the al-Abbas Shrines held the 15th Martyrdom Spring International Cultural Festival in the holy city of Karbala on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

The media committee of the festival indicated that remarkable officials, clerics, and culturalists from Arab and foreign countries attended the festival.

The Spring of martyrdom festival, Rabuee’ al-Shahada, is one of the largest festivals in the world, which is renewed in the beginning of the month of Sha’baan each year. It is located in the city of Karbala. It attracts scientists, researchers and thinkers from all religions and sects in the world.
