A seminar titled “How Karbala Incident Affected Humanity’s Path”
A seminar titled “How Karbala Incident Affected Humanity’s Path” was held at the University of Kufa in Iraq.
According to reports, the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine organized the program at the university’s Faculty of Jurisprudence.
It was addressed by Antoine Bara, a Christian scholar and author of a book titled “Imam Hussein in Christian Ideology”.
The scholar also attended the fourth edition of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, scholarly forum held in Basra University last week.
In an interview on his book about Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, Bara mentioned that Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is not exclusive to Shia or Muslims but belongs to the whole world because he is the “conscience of religions”.
Bara considers that being a Shia is “the highest degree of love for God”.
