The Imam Hussein Center, affiliated with the Media Department of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Istanbul, held a specialized workshop with Turkish media professionals to discuss strengthening cooperation and coordinating international press coverage of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The workshop brought together journalists, content creators, representatives of satellite channels and media organizations to explore mechanisms for joint media cooperation. Discussions focused on two main areas, including logistical and technical support for Turkish media organizations planning to send reporting teams to cover the upcoming Arbaeen ceremonies in the holy city of Karbala.
Center Director Sabah Al-Talqani highlighted the commitment of the Holy Shrine administration to providing necessary support and facilitating the work of foreign media teams to ensure comprehensive and objective coverage of the major religious gathering.
Participants also discussed expanding cooperation between the center and Turkish media institutions, including providing ongoing coverage of the center’s cultural and intellectual activities. The meeting concluded with plans to establish a comprehensive database of media organizations to enhance communication and ensure continued professional coordination.
