Convoy of Iraqi pilgrims walking to visit Iran’s holy shrines arrive at the house of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

The house of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, received an Iraqi convoy of pilgrims from Diwaniyah.  

The official website of the Shirazi Religious Authority stated in a statement, received by Shia Waves News Agency, that “another convoy of Iraqi pilgrims walking to visit Iran’s holy shrines of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, has arrived at the house of His Eminence.”

The statement added that the pilgrims listened to a lecture delivered by Sheikh Kadhim al-Karbalaey, followed by a participation in the daily scientific session presented by the Grand Ayatollah.
