Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Walking on foot to visit the shrines of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, is one of the greatest rituals of Allah

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, stressed the necessity of venerating the rituals of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, defending their causes and spreading their principles in every corner of the world.

His Eminence said in a speech during his scientific sessions, “All the rituals of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, are venerated and glorified, and we must strive to establish them so that they are universal and known to the whole world.”

His Eminence pointed out that among the blessed rituals is the ritual of walking on foot to visit the holy shrines in Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimiya, Samarra, Mashhad, Jannat al-Baqi’ and the grave of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his progeny, indicating that “the ritual of walking to their pure shrines is one of the greatest rituals of Allah.”
